Psalm 117
Our liturgy is inspired from Gregorian chant, and springs forth from the Eucharist and from silent prayer. Going back to the sources of Gregorian chant and from ancient Church tradition, we want our liturgy to be at the service of the Word of God and to help us mediate it throughout the whole day.
This CD features songs in English and Spanish. It leads us to adore and contemplate the mystery of Christ as Light, and to turn to Mary, the Woman clothed in the sun. It is a song of hope for our world, which is often plunged into darkness and needs to discover the source, a source of light and love.
New compositions by our sisters in several voices accompanied by our instruments: guitar, violins, cello and flute.

This CD introduces us to the great mystery of the Easter Triduum (Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday), the pinnacle of the Church's liturgical life and the heart of Christian life.
These songs, drawn from the Church's Tradition, help us discover the mystery of the Passion and open us up to the Resurrection, the Lumen Christi (light of Christ) of the Easter Vigil. They inspire us to follow in the footsteps of Christ, who gave his life for our sake. This CD culminates in the Alleluia, Christ's victory over all evil and darkness!
The songs of this album, composed and interpreted by the Sisters, put into music the Word of God and the prayers of the saints. These compositions are the fruit of a life consecrated to prayer.
These songs, sung with one or several voices and accompanied by guitar, flute and violin, lead us to praise, meditation and silence. They help us lift up our souls to God and to contemplate him.
Through these a capella chants in honor of the Virgin Mary, the Sisters give us a taste of their contemplative liturgy where everything is ordered to silence, prayer, adoration and to praise God who is One, and thrice Holy. The various repertoires that the Sisters chose for their first CD come from both Ancient times and the present.
You will find chants from the Carthusian tradition (order of Carthusians), pieces from Spanish tradition (Mozarabe chant) and from Gregorian chant, as well as a magnificent piece from Saint Hildegard of Bingen. The CD is completed with a Basque-county chant sung with many voices.
