The Lord is my strength and my song; He was my Savior.

Psalm 117

Our liturgy is inspired from Gregorian chant, and springs forth from the Eucharist and from silent prayer.  Going back to the sources of Gregorian chant and from ancient Church tradition, we want our liturgy to be at the service of the Word of God and to help us mediate it throughout the whole day.

CD : STELLA MATUTINA

Through these a capella chants in honor of the Virgin Mary, the Sisters give us a taste of their contemplative liturgy where everything is ordered to silence, prayer, adoration and to praise God who is One, and thrice Holy. The various repertoires that the Sisters chose for their first CD come from both Ancient times and the present.

You will find chants from the Carthusian tradition (order of Carthusians), pieces from Spanish tradition (Mozarabe chant) and from Gregorian chant, as well as a magnificent piece from Saint Hildegard of Bingen.  The CD is completed with a Basque-county chant sung with many voices.

CD:
LUMEN CHRISTI

his third CD introduces us to the great mystery of the Easter Triduum (Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday), the pinnacle of the Church's liturgical life and the heart of Christian life.

These songs, drawn from the Church's Tradition, help us discover the mystery of the Passion and open us up to the Resurrection, the Lumen Christi (light of Christ) of the Easter Vigil. They inspire us to follow in the footsteps of Christ, who gave his life for our sake. This CD culminates in the Alleluia, Christ's victory over all evil and darkness!
